Greetings! Thanks for stopping by my QRZ. I've been licensed since 2016 was a "latecomer" to ham radio not getting licensed until my late 30s but it was something I'd wanted to do since high school. I have a broad interest in amateur radio as an outgrowth of being a general technology enthusiast. On the air, I'm not much of a ragchewer, so I tend to do mostly contests and special events on HF. On VHF and up I'm usually found on W8WKY 147.39 and/or the W8WKY Allstar Network (Hub# 48496).

I am a member of the Silvercreek Amateur Radio Association serving on the Executive Committee as the Technical Trustee. As the Technical Trustee, I keep W8WKY's repeaters, services, and equipment in optimum operating condition. I am also part of the Wayne Technical Fanatics. The WTF is a "makers club" for radio experimentation and used as an umbrella for various projects such as operating or assiting with the operating of a number of area repeaters and operating a multimode reflector. Finally, I am an appointed Technical Specialist for the ARRL Ohio Section and enjoy helping fellow hams get on the air.
